We’ve purchased both a furnace and AC unit from Dixon’s and they’re always very responsive. All of the employees have been polite and do great work. Our 25 year old central air had quit a few days before my husband was due home from the hospital.  Dixon Heating & Air was recommended to us by my husband's brother.  I reached out to the owner, Derek Patterson.  This was one of the hottest weeks and he sent a tech to get info for a new central unit.  We had a  proposal before the day was out and a new central unit 2 days later.  We were more than pleased with the prompt service and the installation. Dixon’s Heating and Air Conditioning has excellent customer service from the scheduling office to the technician. I called this morning around 8:15 am because my air conditioning stopped circulating cool air. They said a tech could be in my area within the next couple of hours and they would call me when they were headed my way. At 9:30, Rich called to say he would be here in about 30 mins. He identified the problem, found a replacement motor, and fixed the issue in less than 2 hours. Rich was professional and explained the issue. They were so great!! I was having trouble getting the house to heat up. I called and someone was at my house in 45 mins (it takes about 25 mins just to drive here from the shop) Rich spent HOURS working to diagnose the problem I was having. I only had to pay about $200. They had to put in a new heat pump. They had it for me within 4 days (including Sat and Sunday). Called me on Monday morning and said we have the heat pump are you home? Again he was there in 45 mins! He spent about 5 hours hooking it up, checking temperatures and pressures.

Then I had a noise the next day and I called. This time I had to wait a day but I texted with Derek at about 930pm (because i missed his call and just heard his VM). He responded right back and set up for Rich to be at my house at 730am the next morning. He was there at 720am.

He again spent a couple hours as we tried to recreate the sound I was hearing.   We attributed it just being a new heat pump on an older blower. But all Temps and pressures were good. He did his due diligence and I felt confident in his decision. It has been working great and my house is warm again.

Called for an appointment for service on our furnace, it stopped working. They had a technician at our house in approximately 25 minutes. After inspecting furnace and explaining to me what he was doing on every step, it was running in no time at all. He answered every question I had and explained everything so thorough that even I could understand, extremely knowledgeable. Its hard to get that quality of work that fast and very reasonable! Excellent experience.  After failing to get any Springfield-based HVAC contractors to respond to my calls, I checked Dixon's.  They were polite, professional and knowledgeable.  Mine was not an emergency situation, but they were still able to come the next day to service my furnace, make a couple of necessary small repairs, switch out a corroded flue pipe and install a new thermostat. In the middle of a heat wave, Dixon’s came to my rescue!  After receiving a ridiculously high estimate on a repair from another air conditioning repair business, ($4000-5000), DIXONs repaired my very old unit for under $200.00!  I was up and running in an hour!  We know the unit is old so we asked for a proposal for a new one and received that proposal the next day!  We still have not received one from the the first business we contacted!
The young man from Dixon‘s, called ahead to let me know the time of his arrival and arrived on time if not a few minutes early. Very polite took his time to answer all of my questions. Just had a service call done by Dixon's Heating. Pat did an excellent job, I explained the problem and he felt some of the sensors just needed to be clean. Did a total checkout of the furance and after cleaning the unit he gave it a clean bill of health. They have earned by business when it comes to furance work
